Bacon Pea Salad
Ingredients
4 cups frozen peas, thawed and drained
8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
1 cup cheddar cheese, cubed or shredded
1/3 cup red onion, finely diced
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Chopped boiled eggs
Sunflower seeds
Diced celery
Fresh dill
Instructions
Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine peas, bacon, cheddar cheese, and red onion.
In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix until everything is coated evenly.
Chill for at least 1 hour before serving for the best flavor.
Tips
Pat the peas dry so the salad stays creamy instead of watery.
Add the bacon right before serving if you want maximum crunch.
