Slow Cooker Onion Beef Patties
This cozy slow cooker dinner is rich, savory, and perfect served over mashed potatoes, rice, or egg noodles.
Ingredients
1 ½ lbs (700 g) ground beef
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup beef broth
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
Shape the patties
Form the ground beef into 4–6 oval patties. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Layer the onions
Spread the sliced onions across the bottom of the slow cooker.
Add the patties
Place the beef patties on top of the onions.
Mix the sauce
In a bowl, combine:
onion soup mix
cream of mushroom soup
beef broth
Worcestershire sauce
Stir until smooth.
Cook
Pour the sauce over the patties.
Cover and cook:
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
Serve
Spoon the onion gravy over the patties and garnish with parsley if desired.
