Tomato Soup Ground Beef Bake
A simple old-school comfort casserole made with just a few pantry ingredients. It’s hearty, cheesy, and perfect for a busy weeknight.
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) raw ground beef
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 cup uncooked white rice
1½ cups water
1 small onion, diced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large baking dish, spread the uncooked rice evenly across the bottom.
Add the diced onion over the rice.
Place the raw ground beef on top in small chunks or crumbles.
In a bowl, whisk together the tomato soup and water. Stir in garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Pour the soup mixture evenly over the beef and rice.
Cover tightly with foil and bake for 1 hour.
Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top, and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes until bubbly and melted.
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.
