Monte Cristo Sliders
Ingredients
12 Hawaiian rolls
6 slices deli ham
6 slices deli turkey
6 slices Swiss cheese
2 large eggs
3 tbsp milk
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Powdered sugar, for topping
Raspberry or strawberry jam, for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
Layer ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese evenly over the rolls. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, and onion powder.
Brush or pour the mixture evenly over the tops of the sliders.
Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 5–8 minutes until golden and the cheese is melted.
Dust lightly with powdered sugar before serving.
Serve warm with raspberry or strawberry jam for dipping.
Optional Add-Ins
A little cream cheese for extra richness
Thin sliced turkey bacon
A pinch of cinnamon in the egg mixture for a sweeter flavor
