Ginger–Turmeric Warm Drink
Ingredients
2 cups (500 ml) water
1 tsp grated fresh ginger (or ½ tsp ground ginger)
1 tsp grated fresh turmeric (or ½ tsp ground turmeric)
Juice of ½ lemon
1 tsp honey (optional)
Tiny pinch of black pepper (often added with turmeric)
Instructions
Bring water to a gentle boil.
Add ginger and turmeric.
Simmer 8–10 minutes.
Strain into a mug.
Stir in lemon juice, honey, and black pepper.
Serve warm.
Some people also make it as a cold infusion or add cinnamon.
Just a note: if pain is severe, persistent, or comes with swelling, fever, weakness, or numbness, it’s worth getting checked. Turmeric and ginger can also interact with some medicines (especially blood thinners).
