Honey Butter Crispy Chicken recipe 🍯🍗
Ingredients
For the chicken:
500 g chicken breast or boneless chicken thighs (cut into strips)
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (60 g) cornstarch
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
2 eggs
3 tbsp milk
Oil for frying
For the honey butter sauce:
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce (optional, for extra savory flavor)
1 small garlic clove, minced
Instructions
Prepare coating:
Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika in a bowl.
Dip chicken:
Beat eggs with milk in another bowl. Dip chicken into egg mixture, then coat well in flour mixture.
Fry:
Heat oil to medium-high. Fry chicken 5–7 minutes until crispy and golden. Remove and drain.
Make honey butter:
Melt butter in a pan over low heat. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in honey and soy sauce.
Combine:
Toss hot crispy chicken in the honey butter until coated.
Serve:
Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped parsley if you like.
