Classic Old-Fashioned Blackberry Cobbler (Warm & Juicy Comfort Dessert) π«π₯§

Ingredients
For the blackberry filling:
4 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the cobbler topping:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
Preheat oven to 175Β°C (350Β°F).
In a bowl, mix blackberries, 3/4 cup sugar, lemon juice, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Pour melted butter into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In another bowl, whisk together flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk until smooth.
Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter. Do not stir.
Spoon the blackberry mixture evenly over the batter. Again, do not stir.
Bake for 45β50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool for 10β15 minutes before serving.

Dust lightly with powdered sugar
