Baked Pork Chops with Sliced Onions (Easy 5-Ingredient Supper) 🐖🧅
Ingredients
4–6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless)
2 large onions, thinly sliced
1 packet onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup milk (or water)
1 tablespoon olive oil or butter (optional)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or butter.
Spread the sliced onions evenly across the bottom of the dish.
Season the pork chops lightly with salt and pepper, then place them on top of the onions.
In a bowl, mix together:
cream of mushroom soup
onion soup mix
milk (or water)
Pour the mixture evenly over the pork chops.
Cover the dish tightly with foil and bake for 35–40 minutes.
Remove foil and bake uncovered for another 10–15 minutes, until the pork chops are tender and cooked through.
Spoon the rich onion gravy over the top before serving.
