Grandma’s 15-Minute Famous Cake
A quick, soft, and delicious homemade cake—simple ingredients, ready fast, and perfect with tea or coffee.
Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
Pinch of salt
Optional: powdered sugar for topping
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a small cake pan or line it with parchment paper.
In a bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and slightly fluffy.
Add milk, oil, and vanilla. Mix well.
Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until smooth and lump-free.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
