Turmeric Ginger Cinnamon Wellness Drink
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1-inch fresh turmeric, grated)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon raw honey (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Bring the water to a gentle boil in a small pot.
Add turmeric, grated ginger, and cinnamon.
Let it simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain into a cup if using fresh ginger/turmeric.
Let it cool slightly, then stir in lemon juice and raw honey.
(Add honey after cooling a little so it keeps its natural benefits.)
Serve warm and enjoy.
Optional
Add a pinch of black pepper to help your body absorb turmeric better.
This is a soothing homemade wellness drink, but it doesn’t cure diseases like diabetes or high blood pressure on its own.
