Creamy Potato Casserole (Cozy Pour-Over Recipe)
Ingredients
6 medium potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken soup)
1 cup milk
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease a glass casserole dish with a little butter.
Arrange the sliced potatoes and onions evenly in the dish.
In a bowl, mix:
cream of mushroom soup
milk
garlic
melted butter
salt
pepper
paprika
Pour this creamy mixture evenly over the potatoes.
Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 20–25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
