Creamy Cheesy Chicken Pasta Bake
A cozy, family-favorite dinner that kids often instantly love!
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced
250 g pasta (penne, rotini, or shells)
1 can (300 g) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 cup mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 cup frozen peas or broccoli (optional)
1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional for topping)
2 tablespoons melted butter (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F).
Cook pasta according to package directions until just tender. Drain.
In a large bowl, mix:
cream of chicken soup
sour cream
milk
garlic powder
onion powder
salt and pepper
Stir in:
cooked chicken
cooked pasta
cheddar cheese
mozzarella
peas or broccoli if using
Pour mixture into a greased baking dish.
If using breadcrumbs, mix them with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
Bake for 25–30 minutes until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
