Fast Baked Potatoes
Ingredients
4 medium potatoes (Russet works best)
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Optional Toppings
Butter
Sour cream
Shredded cheese
Chopped green onions
Bacon bits
Instructions
Wash and scrub the potatoes well, then pat dry.
Pierce each potato a few times with a fork.
Rub each potato with olive oil or melted butter.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Microwave the potatoes for 5–7 minutes, turning halfway through.
Then place them in a preheated oven at 220°C (425°F) for 10–15 minutes to crisp the skin.
Remove carefully, slice open, fluff the inside with a fork, and add your favorite toppings.
Extra Fast Tip
If you want super crispy skin faster, cut the potatoes in half before baking.
