Ginger Water Recipe
Ingredients
1 large fresh ginger root (about 4–5 inches)
4 cups water
1–2 tablespoons honey (optional)
1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
A few mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the ginger root.
Slice it thinly or grate it for a stronger flavor.
Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
Add the ginger to the boiling water.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Remove from heat and strain the liquid into a jug or cups.
Stir in honey and lemon juice if desired.
Serve warm or chill in the fridge and serve cold.
