For wrapping:
Wonton wrappers (store-bought or homemade)
For the soup broth:
1 liter chicken broth
2 cloves garlic, smashed
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
Optional: a few drops fish sauce (adds depth)
Optional add-ins:
Bok choy or spinach
Sliced mushrooms
Carrots (thinly sliced)

  1. Make the filling
    Mix ground meat, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Fold the wontons
    Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wrapper
    Wet the edges with water
    Fold into a triangle, then bring corners together and press to seal
