🧾 Ingredients:
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons melted butter (or oil)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Mix dry ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla.
Combine
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined (a few lumps are okay—don’t overmix).
Cook pancakes
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and lightly grease it.
Pour about ¼ cup batter for each pancake.
Cook until bubbles form on top (about 2–3 minutes), then flip and cook another 1–2 minutes.
Serve warm
