Ingredients:
1–2 teaspoons dried oregano or 5–6 fresh oregano leaves
1 cup hot water
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
A squeeze of lemon (optional)
Instructions:
Bring water to a boil.
Add oregano leaves (fresh or dried) to a cup.
Pour hot water over them.
Cover and let steep for 5–10 minutes.
Strain the leaves.
Add honey and lemon if you like.
Drink warm.
How to use:
Drink 1–2 cups per day.
Best after meals for digestion or when you have mild throat irritation.
Extra tip: You can also inhale the steam (carefully) for a soothing effect on your airways.
