🥘 Baked Beans Over Ground Beef Patties
Ingredients:
500 g ground beef
1 can (400–450 g) sweet baked beans
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
1 tablespoon mustard
Salt & pepper (to taste)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Shape the beef
Divide the ground beef into 4–6 patties.
Season both sides with salt and pepper.
Prepare the dish
Place the raw patties in a glass baking dish in a single layer.
Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix baked beans, chopped onion, ketchup, and mustard.
Assemble
Pour the bean mixture evenly over the patties.
Bake
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes until beef is cooked through and sauce is bubbling.
🍽️ Tips:
Add a little brown sugar or honey if you like it sweeter.
You can top with shredded cheese in the last 10 minutes for extra richness.
Serve with bread, rice, or mashed potatoes.
