Ingredients:
2–3 medium sweet potatoes
Water (enough to cover)
Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:
Wash & peel (optional): Scrub the sweet potatoes well. You can leave the skin on for extra nutrients.
Cut: Slice into chunks for faster cooking, or leave whole.
Boil:
Place in a pot and cover with water.
Add a pinch of salt if you like.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 15–25 minutes (until fork-tender).
Drain & serve:
Drain the water and let them cool slightly.
Serve warm.
