Turmeric Ginger Honey Tonic
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1 tablespoon fresh grated turmeric)
1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1–2 teaspoons raw honey
Optional: pinch of black pepper (helps absorb turmeric better)
Instructions
Bring the water to a gentle simmer.
Add turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon.
Simmer for 5–10 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
Stir in lemon juice and raw honey.
Strain if desired and serve warm.
Tips
Drink in the morning or evening.
Serve over ice for a cold version.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
