Crispy Chicken Tenders with Dipping Sauce 🍗
Ingredients
For the Chicken Tenders
500 g (1 lb) chicken tenders or chicken breast strips
1 cup flour
2 eggs
2 tbsp milk
1 ½ cups breadcrumbs or panko
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Oil for frying
For the Dipping Sauce
½ cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp mustard
½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Prepare the Coating
In one bowl, add flour.
In a second bowl, whisk eggs with milk.
In a third bowl, mix breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. - Coat the Chicken
Dip each chicken strip into flour.
Then dip into the egg mixture.
Finally coat well in the seasoned breadcrumbs. - Fry Until Crispy
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry chicken tenders for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil. - Make the Sauce
Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, mustard, and garlic powder in a small bowl until smooth.
Optional Oven Method
Bake at 220°C (425°F) for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
