Chocolate Cookies 🍪🍫
Ingredients
1 cup (225 g) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup (200 g) brown sugar
1/2 cup (100 g) white sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups (280 g) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 cups (250 g) chocolate chips or chunks
Instructions
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
Fold in chocolate chips.
Scoop dough onto the baking tray, leaving space between cookies.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set but centers stay soft.
Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Chopped walnuts or pecans
White chocolate chips
A sprinkle of sea salt on top
Serve warm with milk for extra comfort 🍪🥛
