Golden Ham & Cheese Puff Pastry Pinwheels
These crispy, cheesy pinwheels are perfect for snacks, parties, or a quick dinner!
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
150–200 g sliced ham
1 ½ cups shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss)
2 tbsp cream cheese or Dijon mustard (optional)
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
1 tsp dried parsley or Italian seasoning
Sesame seeds or poppy seeds (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Prepare pastry
Roll out the puff pastry slightly on a lightly floured surface.
Add filling
Spread cream cheese or mustard over the pastry if using.
Layer ham evenly, then sprinkle cheese all over.
Roll tightly
Starting from one side, roll the pastry into a tight log.
Slice
Cut into 2 cm (¾-inch) pinwheels and place them flat on the baking tray.
Brush & season
Brush tops with beaten egg. Sprinkle parsley and sesame seeds if desired.
Bake
Bake for 18–22 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
Serve
Let cool slightly and serve warm with ketchup, honey mustard, or ranch dip.
