Air-Fried Crispy Cauliflower “Tots”
These crispy cauliflower bites are crunchy outside, tender inside, and seriously addictive. Perfect as a snack, side dish, or healthy tater-tot swap.
Ingredients
1 medium head cauliflower, cut into small florets
1 egg
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup almond flour (or breadcrumbs if not low-carb)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Cooking spray or a little olive oil

Garlic yogurt sauce
Ketchup
Instructions
Cook the cauliflower
Steam or microwave cauliflower florets until very tender (about 5–7 minutes).
Let cool slightly.
Remove excess moisture
Place cauliflower in a clean towel and squeeze out as much water as possible.
This is the secret to getting them crispy.
Make the mixture
Mash cauliflower with a fork or pulse briefly in a food processor.
Mix in egg, cheddar, Parmesan, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
Shape
Form into small tots or bite-sized balls.
Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 200°C (400°F).
Lightly spray basket and cauliflower bites with oil.
Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Serve hot
Dip in your favorite sauce and enjoy.
Extra Crispy Tips
Chill mixture 15 minutes before shaping.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket.
Add extra Parmesan for more crunch.
