Slow Cooker Tomato Chicken
A cozy, easy slow cooker dinner with tender chicken in a rich tomato sauce.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 can (14–15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 packet Italian dressing seasoning mix
1 block (8 oz) cream cheese
1 cup chicken broth or water
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: garlic powder, onion powder, fresh basil, Parmesan
Instructions
Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
Pour diced tomatoes (with juices) over the chicken.
Add Italian seasoning packet and chicken broth.
Cover and cook:
Low: 6–7 hours
High: 3–4 hours
About 30 minutes before serving, add the cream cheese.
Stir until creamy and smooth. Shred or leave chicken whole.
Taste and season with salt and pepper.
