Crispy Roasted Cauliflower
A simple, crispy, flavor-packed cauliflower recipe with golden edges and a tender center.
Ingredients
1 large head cauliflower, cut into florets
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp turmeric (optional)
1/2 tsp chili flakes or black pepper
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup breadcrumbs or panko for extra crispiness
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
Wash and dry the cauliflower well. Cut into medium florets.
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, paprika, turmeric, chili flakes, and salt.
Add cauliflower and toss until fully coated.
Sprinkle in breadcrumbs and Parmesan, then toss again.
Spread the florets on a baking tray in a single layer.
Roast for 30–35 minutes, turning halfway through, until deep golden and crispy.
Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
Optional Garlic Yogurt Dip
Mix:
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1 minced garlic clove
Pinch of salt
Squeeze of lemon juice
Tips
Don’t overcrowd the pan — this helps the cauliflower crisp up.
For extra crunch, broil for the last 2–3 minutes.
You can add cumin, curry powder, or Italian herbs for different flavors.
