Slow Cooker Pork Shoulder (5 Ingredients Total)
Ingredients
1 boneless pork shoulder (about 1.5–2.5 kg / 3–5 lb)
1 packet onion soup mix
1 cup barbecue sauce
1 can cola or root beer (about 330 ml / 12 oz)
2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
Place the pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
Rub the onion soup mix all over the meat.
Pour the barbecue sauce and cola over the pork.
Add the garlic.
Cover and cook:
Low: 8–10 hours
High: 5–6 hours
When the pork is fall-apart tender, shred it with two forks and mix it back into the juices.
Serving Ideas
Pile onto sandwich buns for pulled pork sandwiches
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice
