Fluffy White Rice
Ingredients
1 cup white rice (jasmine, basmati, or long-grain)
1½–2 cups water
Jasmine rice: 1½ cups
Long-grain white rice: 1¾ cups
Softer rice: up to 2 cups
Optional:
1 tsp butter or oil
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Measure rice using the cup that came with your Aroma rice cooker.
Rinse rice under cold water until the water runs mostly clear.
Add rice to the cooker pot.
Pour in the correct amount of water.
Add butter/oil and salt if desired.
Close lid and press the White Rice button (or simply “Cook” on basic models).
Once finished, let the rice rest for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork or rice paddle.
Fluffy Brown Rice
Ingredients
1 cup brown rice
2¼ cups water
Optional:
1 tsp olive oil or butter
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Rinse brown rice well.
Add rice and water to the cooker.
Add optional seasoning.
Select the Brown Rice setting.
Let it rest 10–15 minutes after cooking.
