Irish 4-Ingredient Slow-Baked Beef & Onion Dinner šš„©
Ingredients
800 gā1 kg beef chuck roast (or stewing beef)
2 large onions, sliced
500 ml beef broth (or stock)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Optional (not counted in the 4)
Salt & black pepper
Chopped parsley
Mashed potatoes for serving
Instructions
Preheat oven to 160°C (320°F).
Place sliced onions in the bottom of a casserole dish or Dutch oven.
Put beef on top.
Pour over beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover tightly with a lid or foil.
Bake for 3ā3½ hours until the beef becomes fork-tender.
Slice or shred and spoon the onion gravy over the top.

Warm bread to soak up the sauce
