For the Steaks:
1 lb (450g) ground beef
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Onion Gravy:
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter or oil
2 tablespoons flour
2 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt & pepper to taste

1️⃣ Make the Patties
In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Form into 4–5 oval patties.
2️⃣ Brown the Steaks
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties 4–5 minutes per side until nicely browned.
Remove from pan and set aside (they’ll finish cooking in the gravy).
3️⃣ Cook the Onions
In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced onions and cook until soft and golden (about 8–10 minutes).
4️⃣ Make the Gravy
Sprinkle flour over onions and stir for 1 minute.
Slowly whisk in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer until thickened.
5️⃣ Simmer Together
Return patties to the skillet. Cover and simmer on low for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked and tender.
