🍎 Caramel Apple Crescent Rolls
🧾 Ingredients
2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
2 large apples (Granny Smith or any firm apple), peeled and cut into wedges
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7UP)
Powdered sugar (optional, for topping)
👩🍳 Instructions
Prepare the apples
Peel the apples and cut them into thick wedges.
Wrap the apples
Unroll the crescent dough and wrap each apple wedge with a triangle of dough.
Arrange in dish
Place the wrapped apples in a greased baking dish or slow cooker.
Make the caramel sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
Pour sauce
Pour the mixture evenly over the crescent rolls.
Add soda
Carefully pour the lemon-lime soda around the edges (not directly on top).
Bake
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve warm. It’s amazing with vanilla ice cream 🍨.
