🍯🍗 Honey Butter Crispy Chicken
A perfect mix of crispy, salty, sweet, and buttery. The chicken is fried until golden and crunchy, then coated in a rich honey-butter glaze that makes it irresistible.
📝 Ingredients
For the Chicken
500 g (1 lb) chicken thighs or chicken breast, cut into pieces
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup cornstarch
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
2 eggs
½ cup milk
Oil for frying
For the Honey Butter Sauce
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp honey
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
👨🍳 Instructions
Prepare the coating
In a bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Prepare wet mixture
In another bowl, whisk eggs and milk.
Coat the chicken
Dip chicken pieces in the egg mixture.
Then coat well in the flour mixture.
Fry the chicken
Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C / 350°F.
Fry chicken for 6–8 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
Make the honey butter sauce
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, and garlic.
Stir for 1–2 minutes until slightly thick.
Coat the chicken
Toss the hot crispy chicken in the honey butter sauce until fully glazed.

Sprinkle with sesame seeds or chopped parsley.
Serve with rice, fries, or coleslaw.
Add a little chili flakes if you like sweet-spicy flavor.
