🥬🍗 Slow Cooker Cabbage & Chicken Thighs
✅ Ingredients
4–6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
1 small head of cabbage (cut into wedges)
1 medium onion (sliced)
3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 simple ingredients:
1 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp paprika (or smoked paprika for extra flavor)
Optional:
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
1 tsp dried thyme or Italian seasoning
👩🍳 Instructions
Prep the base:
Place cabbage wedges and sliced onion at the bottom of your slow cooker.
Add chicken:
Lay the chicken thighs on top of the cabbage.
Mix sauce:
In a small bowl, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, garlic, and paprika.
Pour & season:
Pour the mixture over everything. Add a little salt and pepper if desired.
Cook:
LOW for 6–7 hours
or HIGH for 3–4 hours
Optional finish:
For crispy skin, place the cooked chicken under the oven broiler for 3–5 minutes.
