🥔 Crispy Air Fryer Potato Slices
Ingredients
2–3 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold work best)
1½–2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
1 tsp paprika (optional)
Fresh herbs (parsley or rosemary, optional)
Instructions
Slice the potatoes
Wash and cut into thin rounds (about 2–4 mm thick).
Try to keep them even so they cook evenly.
Soak (important for crispiness)
Place slices in cold water for 20–30 minutes.
This removes excess starch and makes them crispier.
Drain and pat completely dry.
Season
Toss potato slices with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any spices you like.
Air fry
Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).
Arrange slices in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
Cook for 12–18 minutes, flipping halfway through.
Cook until golden and crispy on the edges.
Finish & serve
Sprinkle with a little extra salt or fresh herbs.
Serve immediately while hot and crunchy.
🔥 Tips for extra crispiness
Don’t skip drying the potatoes well after soaking.
Cook in batches if needed.
Thinner slices = crispier chips-like texture.
