🍄🥩 Creamy Mushroom Beef Bake
🛒 Ingredients
500 g ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cups mushrooms, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (300–400 g) cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup sour cream (or plain yogurt)
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
2 cups cooked pasta or sliced potatoes (your choice)
1 tablespoon oil or butter
👩🍳 Instructions
Preheat oven
Set to 180°C (350°F).
Cook the beef
In a pan, heat oil and sauté onion until soft.
Add garlic and ground beef, cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Add mushrooms
Toss in sliced mushrooms and cook until softened and most moisture evaporates.
Make it creamy
Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and milk. Mix well and simmer 3–5 minutes.
Assemble the bake
In a baking dish, layer cooked pasta or potatoes
Pour the beef-mushroom mixture over it
Top with shredded cheese
Bake
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
Rest & serve
Let it sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Add spinach or peas for extra veggies
Use fresh cream instead of soup for a more homemade version
Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for a crispy crust
