Instructions

  1. Prep the meat Place the beef in a slow cooker (or deep baking dish if using oven).
  2. Add flavor Sprinkle the onion soup mix evenly over the top.
  3. Add soda Pour the soda over the meat. It will help tenderize the beef and create a rich, slightly sweet sauce.
  4. Cook slowly
    Slow cooker: 8 hours on LOW (or 4–5 hours on HIGH)
    Oven: cover tightly and bake at 160°C for about 3.5–4 hours
