Ginger Water (Simple Healthy Drink)
Ingredients
1 large fresh ginger root (about 4–5 cm / 2 inches)
1 liter (4 cups) water
1 lemon (optional, sliced)
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
A few mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the ginger root.
Slice it thinly or grate it.
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil.
Add the ginger to the boiling water.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10–15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes.
Strain the water into a jug or cup.
Add lemon slices and honey if desired.
Drink warm or chilled.
How to Use
Drink 1 cup in the morning on an empty stomach.
You can also drink 1 cup before meals.
Note
Ginger water can be refreshing and may support digestion, but it does not specifically β€œburn fat” from certain body parts like the abdomen, arms, or thighs. Healthy results usually come from overall balanced eating, sleep, and regular movement.
