Ginger Water (Simple Healthy Drink)
Ingredients
1 large fresh ginger root (about 4β5 cm / 2 inches)
1 liter (4 cups) water
1 lemon (optional, sliced)
1 tablespoon honey (optional)
A few mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
Wash and peel the ginger root.
Slice it thinly or grate it.
Bring 1 liter of water to a boil.
Add the ginger to the boiling water.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10β15 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes.
Strain the water into a jug or cup.
Add lemon slices and honey if desired.
Drink warm or chilled.
How to Use
Drink 1 cup in the morning on an empty stomach.
You can also drink 1 cup before meals.
Note
Ginger water can be refreshing and may support digestion, but it does not specifically βburn fatβ from certain body parts like the abdomen, arms, or thighs. Healthy results usually come from overall balanced eating, sleep, and regular movement.
