Turmeric Ginger Cinnamon Lemon Honey Drink
A simple soothing drink often used as a warm morning tonic.
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1-inch fresh turmeric, grated)
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated (or 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger)
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon raw honey (adjust to taste)
Instructions
Bring the water to a gentle boil.
Add turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon.
Reduce heat and let it simmer for 8–10 minutes.
Strain into a mug if using fresh ginger/turmeric.
Let it cool slightly (so the honey keeps its goodness).
Stir in lemon juice and raw honey.
Drink warm, preferably in the morning or before bed.
Optional
Add a pinch of black pepper to help absorb turmeric better.
Add a slice of lemon for extra freshness.
