Salt Water Strawberry Cleaning
Ingredients
1 bowl of water
1 teaspoon salt
Fresh strawberries
Instructions
Fill a bowl with cool water.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt and stir until dissolved.
Place strawberries in the bowl.
Let them soak for 5–10 minutes.
Gently swish them around.
Remove and rinse very well under clean running water.
Pat dry with paper towels before eating or storing.
Extra Tip
You can also use a mix of water + a little baking soda for cleaning.
Always rinse after soaking so they don’t taste salty.
