4-Ingredient Foil Packet Chicken Dinner
A simple, comforting dinner with tender chicken and rich flavor.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
1 packet dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup (about 10.5 oz / 300 g)
Optional
1 cup sliced carrots or green beans
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Tear 4 large sheets of aluminum foil.
Divide the sliced potatoes evenly among the foil sheets, placing them in the center.
Place 1 chicken breast on top of each potato pile.
In a bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with the dry onion soup mix.
Spoon the mixture evenly over each chicken piece.
Fold the foil tightly into sealed packets.
Place packets on a baking sheet.
Bake for 45–55 minutes, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked and the potatoes are soft.
Carefully open packets (hot steam!) and serve warm.
