4-Ingredient Juicy Pot Roast
Ingredients
1 beef chuck roast (about 3–4 lbs / 1.5–2 kg)
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
1 packet au jus gravy mix
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), sliced
Instructions
Place the chuck roast in a slow cooker or crockpot.
Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the roast.
Sprinkle the au jus gravy mix on top.
Place slices of butter over the roast.
Optional (for extra flavor)
4–5 pepperoncini peppers (many people add these, though the classic “4-ingredient” version skips them)
Cook
Low: 8–10 hours
or
High: 4–5 hours
Serve
Shred with a fork—it should fall apart easily. Serve with:

rice
roasted vegetables
sandwich rolls
