Heaven-on-a-Plate Creamy Chicken Casserole
Ingredients
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 sleeve buttery crackers (like Ritz), crushed
4 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1 cup cooked rice or cooked egg noodles (optional for extra heartiness)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large bowl, mix:
shredded chicken
cream of chicken soup
sour cream
cheddar cheese
garlic powder
onion powder
black pepper
paprika
cooked rice or noodles if using
Spread the mixture evenly into a greased casserole dish.
In a separate bowl, combine crushed crackers with melted butter.
Sprinkle the buttery cracker topping over the casserole.
Bake for 25–30 minutes, until hot, bubbly, and golden on top.
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Extra Tip
Add a little crispy bacon or sautéed mushrooms for even more “heaven on a plate” flavor!
