🍫 Creamy Chocolate Mousse Bars
🧾 Ingredients
200 g milk chocolate (or dark, your choice)
1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream (cold)
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional: pinch of salt
👩🍳 Instructions
- Melt the chocolate
Break chocolate into pieces and melt it gently (microwave in 20-second bursts or over a water bath).
Let it cool slightly (important so it doesn’t melt the cream later). - Whip the cream
In a bowl, whip the cold heavy cream + powdered sugar + vanilla until soft peaks form. - Combine
Fold the melted chocolate into the whipped cream slowly.
Mix gently until smooth and fluffy (don’t overmix or it loses air). - Set in pan
Pour into a lined loaf pan (like in your image).
Smooth the top. - Chill
Refrigerate for at least 4–6 hours (or overnight for best texture). - Slice & serve
Remove from pan, slice into bars, and enjoy!
💡 Tips
For a richer texture, use dark chocolate.
You can add crushed biscuits or nuts for a twist.
Freeze for 1–2 hours if you want a firmer, ice-cream-like version.
