π Creamy Strawberry Milk Dessert
Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries (chopped)
2 cups milk (cold)
1 cup heavy cream (or whipping cream)
3β4 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
Make the base
In a pot, whisk milk, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.
Heat on medium, stirring constantly until it thickens slightly (like a light custard).
Add cream & flavor
Lower heat, stir in heavy cream and vanilla.
Cook 1β2 more minutes, then remove from heat.
Cool it down
Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then chill in the fridge for 1β2 hours.
Add strawberries
Fold in chopped strawberries (save some for topping).
Serve
Pour into glasses and top with extra strawberry slices.
Serve cold and creamy.
Tips
For a smoother drink, blend half the strawberries before mixing.
For a thicker dessert (like pudding), add a bit more cornstarch.
You can swap sugar with honey or a sweetener if you prefer.
