๐Ÿงพ Ingredients:
700gโ€“1 kg beef (chuck roast, stew meat, or beef cheeks)
1 packet onion soup mix (or 1 tbsp onion powder + spices)
1 cup beef broth (or water + bouillon cube)
1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream of chicken)
2 tbsp flour or cornstarch (for thickening, optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
๐Ÿณ Instructions:
Option 1: Slow Cooker (easiest)
Place raw beef in the slow cooker.
In a bowl, mix:
cream soup
onion soup mix
beef broth
Pour over the beef.
Cook:
Low: 7โ€“8 hours
High: 4โ€“5 hours
Once tender, shred or leave in chunks.
If you want thicker gravy:
Mix 2 tbsp flour or cornstarch with a little water
Stir into the sauce and cook 10โ€“15 more minutes
Option 2: Oven
Preheat oven to 160ยฐC.
Place beef in a baking dish.
Mix sauce ingredients and pour over.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake for 3โ€“4 hours until tender.
