🥔 Crispy Parmesan Garlic Potatoes (Better Than Fries)
🧾 Ingredients:
4–5 medium potatoes (Yukon Gold or regular)
3 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic (minced)
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano (or Italian seasoning)
Salt & black pepper (to taste)
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F).
Prep potatoes
Wash and cut into wedges or thick sticks (like fries).
No need to peel unless you want to.
Season
In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Toss potatoes until fully coated.
Add Parmesan
Sprinkle Parmesan and toss again so it sticks to the potatoes.
Bake
Spread potatoes on a baking tray (don’t overcrowd!).
Bake for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
Finish
Sprinkle extra Parmesan + parsley if you like.
Serve hot!
🔥 Tips for EXTRA crispiness:
Soak cut potatoes in cold water for 20 minutes, then dry well
Use a metal tray (not glass)
Don’t stack the potatoes — space = crisp
Turn on broil for the last 3–5 minutes
🍯 Optional Dips:
Garlic mayo
Ketchup + a little chili sauce
Yogurt + lemon + garlic (lighter option)
