🧁 Ultramel Scones
🛒 Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
80 g cold butter (cut into cubes)
¾ cup Ultramel (or any caramel-flavored custard)
¼ cup milk (plus extra for brushing)
1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
Preheat oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
Add cold butter and rub it into the flour using your fingers until it looks like breadcrumbs.
In another bowl, combine Ultramel, milk, and vanilla.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix gently until a soft dough forms.
(Don’t overmix — keep them light and fluffy!)
Turn dough onto a floured surface and pat it down to about 2–3 cm thickness.
Cut into rounds (or triangles) and place on the baking tray.
Brush tops with milk for a golden finish.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
🍯 Optional Serving Ideas:
Drizzle with caramel sauce
Serve with butter or whipped cream
Add chocolate chips to the dough for extra indulgence
