👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Make the filling
In a bowl, mix ground meat, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Fold the wontons
Place 1 tsp of filling in the center of each wrapper
    Wet the edges with water
Fold into a triangle, then bring corners together to seal (classic wonton shape)
  3. Prepare the broth
In a pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer
Add garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil
Let it simmer for 5–10 minutes for flavor
  4. Cook the wontons
Drop wontons into the simmering broth
Cook for 4–5 minutes until they float and are cooked through
  5. Add vegetables (optional)
Add spinach, bok choy, or mushrooms in the last 2 minutes of cooking.
    🍲 Serve
Ladle into bowls and garnish with green onions or a drizzle of sesame oil.
    ⚡ Quick shortcut
If you’re short on time, use frozen/store-bought wontons—just cook them directly in the broth.
