🍖 Oven-Baked BBQ Ribs
🛒 Ingredients
1 rack pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
1 ½ cups BBQ sauce (your favorite)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp brown sugar (optional, for extra caramelization)
🔪 Instructions

  1. Prep the ribs
    Preheat oven to 150°C (300°F)
    Remove the thin membrane from the back of the ribs (this makes them more tender)
  2. Season
    Pat ribs dry, then rub with olive oil
    Mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and brown sugar
    Rub seasoning all over the ribs
  3. Wrap & bake (low and slow)
    Wrap ribs tightly in foil
    Place on a baking tray and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours
  4. Add BBQ sauce
    Remove ribs from foil and place back on tray
    Brush generously with BBQ sauce
  5. Finish (caramelize)
    Increase oven to 220°C (425°F)
    Bake uncovered for 10–15 minutes until sticky and slightly charred
    (or broil for 5 minutes for extra crisp edges)
    🔥 Tips
    Let ribs rest 5–10 minutes before cutting
    Add a second layer of sauce before serving for extra flavor
    Serve with fries, coleslaw, or fresh bread
