Bright Baked Shrimp with Lemon Garlic Sauce
A simple buttery lemon-garlic sauce turns shrimp into a juicy, flavorful dinner in minutes.
Ingredients
For the shrimp
1½ lb (700 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
The “1 Sauce”
4 tablespoons butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
Juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Arrange shrimp in a lightly greased baking dish in a single layer. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
In a bowl, whisk together:
melted butter
garlic
lemon juice and zest
honey
soy sauce
paprika
red pepper flakes
Pour the sauce evenly over the shrimp.
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until shrimp turn pink and opaque.
Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
